ABOUT GEOFF

Geoff brings over a decade of high-level volleyball coaching experience, including his role as an assistant coach with the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens and owner of Nexus Volleyball.
A two-time Alberta Coach of the Year (2023 & 2026), Geoff has helped develop athletes and teams to significant success, including U15 and U16 Provincial Championships and a U17 National Silver Medal in 2026.
Geoff takes a grassroots approach to athlete development, believing that strong fundamentals are the foundation of high-level performance. His sessions focus on building proper mechanics from the ground up through detailed technical feedback, high repetition, and individualized coaching.
Athletes can expect focused instruction in areas such as arm swing mechanics, setting footwork and release, passing technique, and positional skills, along with video analysis to help identify areas for improvement. Beyond technical development, Geoff emphasizes building confidence and helping athletes understand not just what to improve, but why.
Whether you're refining the fundamentals or looking to take your game to the next level, each session is tailored to the athlete's individual needs and goals.
